Helping Clients Recover from Serious Injuries
For over 25 years as a firm, we’ve helped individuals who’ve received serious injuries in accidents. Though some victims manage to escape from their accidents with minor cuts and sprains, others aren’t so fortunate. Some injuries are so serious that they require long-term costs of care and put victims out of work for weeks or months. Others lead to permanent disabilities that have a major impact on quality of life.
One example of a serious or catastrophic injury is a spinal cord injury. When a person’s spinal cord is struck or penetrated in an accident, this can lead to permanent nerve damage that prevents an individual from feeling or sensation in certain body parts. Paralysis changes the way a person lives their life and may even put them out of a job.
Other types of serious injuries our lawyers have worked with include traumatic brain injuries, amputations or loss of limbs, back injuries, and burns. Some types of accidents that often lead to these injuries include:
- Truck accidents
- Car accidents
- Wrongful death
- Premises liability
- Product liability
- Medical malpractice
- Nursing home abuse
The more serious your injuries are, the higher your damages tend to be after an accident. Some of these damages include hospital bills, medication, and physical therapy, and if you need surgery for a severe injury, your bills can skyrocket by tens of thousands of dollars. You may have also sustained property damage that demands things like car part replacements and rentals while you wait for repairs. Our attorneys consider all financial costs when determining the worth of your case to ensure you don’t fall into debt because of another party’s negligent actions. When your future is at stake, you want to entrust your case to a law firm that is known for getting results. Our team can help you reclaim your life after a tragic accident.
What Sets Our Firm Apart?
When you’re suffering and have bills to pay, you want to hire a law firm that has helped clients who have been in your same situation. Our team boasts over 120 years of combined legal experience – experience we’ve used to recover damages from lost wages and burial expenses to non-economic damages like pain and mental anguish.
Our lawyers are also members of the Injury Board (IB), an association of recognized and experienced trial attorneys practicing across the United States and the United Kingdom. Our team is comprised of leaders in our legal community who are also known for their devotion to their community. In addition to working closely with our clients, we also like to give back to Indianapolis through various community initiatives like the annual Breakfast With Santa event, which serves members of underserved communities in our city.
Where to Find Us
Some law firms like to position their offices in intimidating high rises, but we wanted our offices to reflect the stability of our firm and our pride in our Indianapolis community. In 2001, Christie Farrell Lee & Bell purchased the historic Bals-Wocher House, built in 1869, and converted it into our office. Our building is considered one of the finest examples of Italianate architecture in Indianapolis and was established on the National Historic Register in 1979.
All of our attorneys care about the community we serve and look forward to getting to know you on a personal level. When you visit us, you can expect to be treated with the warmth and respect you deserve and have all your questions and needs addressed.
